Welcome to East Pines! This cozy log cabin is located 20 miles from Rapid City and  Keystone, SD, making this a central spot for your vacation. This 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath beautiful cabin is situated in a beautifully cared for isolated setting with views of East Ridge. You can hear the elk bugling in August and September, and deer on the property year-round! Relax in the Hot tub, then go sit in the massage chair! You will love staying here! *NOT PET FRIENDLY*

Welcome to East Pines, our charming log cabin retreat near Keystone, South Dakota! Nestled in the heart of the Black Hills, our cabin provides a rustic and cozy escape, blending the tranquility of nature with modern comfort.

As you step onto the spacious deck, you'll be greeted by beautiful views of the surrounding hills and forests. The exterior of our log cabin is nestled in the pine trees. Enjoy sitting outside on the covered porch on the cozy swing  – the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee while soaking in the fresh mountain air.

Rustic Elegance: The interior combines the rustic charm of a log cabin with the modern comforts of home. The living room features vaulted ceilings clad in local Pine with a smart TV. The floors are radiantly heated, so you will never have cold toes! AC is provided by minisplits in each bedroom and living room, giving you great heat and AC for year-round comfort! Enjoy the spacious living room and La-Z-Boy couch or play pool on the regulation table with proper space to attempt any shot from any side of the table. 

Fully Equipped Kitchen: The well-appointed kitchen invites you to prepare home-cooked meals, complete with all the essentials. Whether you're a culinary enthusiast or making a quick snack, you'll find everything you need.

 #1 Main Level- King size bedroom, ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub, walk-in closet, and massage chair.

Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, our cabin provides an ideal base for your Black Hills adventure.

You will be given a unique smart lock code that is only activated for your stay the day of arrival.

We’re available daily from 7 am to 11 pm by call, text, or message, whatever’s easiest for you! After 11 pm, we switch to emergency-only mode, and phone calls are the best way to reach us. Just a heads-up: I’m a deep sleeper, so if it’s urgent, you might need to call twice to wake me up! 😴📞

There are three neighbor houses. One of those is a private garage and fenced area on the property away from the house that is private and not part of the rental.

There is ample parking for trucks, trailers, cars. No garage space is available but lots of parking for people.

Limitations that you should know about. 
-requires driving 1/4 mile on a gravel road. 
-There is no garage available to guests. 
-There are mountain lions, elk, deer, turkey, and other creatures that wonder through the yard. Please don't try to get close to them or touch them. They have become friends and we don't want them or our guests harmed by an interaction with a wild animal.

We enjoyed the quiet country location.  We sere entertained by the group of turkeys and deer passing through the property every day.  Also enjoyed listening to the elk as they passed thru the property across the road in the evenings.  The kitchen is well stocked making cooking our meals very easy."

Our entire family loved the house, the surroundings, and all of the amenities.  We were greeted by turkeys and deer both mornings, and the views were spectacular.  The house was very clean, the grounds are very well taken care of, and the house had everything we needed.   
 We did have a few questions upon arrival, and we received responses within 10-15 minutes.  I cannot recommend this rental enough.  You can enjoy your coffee on the front porch in the mornings and enjoy your adult beverage in the back seating area, hammock, or hot tub in the evenings!  If I am ever needing a rental in the area again, I will definitely be returning to this location!!  Thank you so much for an enjoyable weekend stay!"
