2 bedroom, 1 bath, townhome, west rapid location

Way over priced. Carpet was dirty. 14 stairs to bathroom and bedroom. One air conditioner upstairs on a 15 amp plugin. Circuit shut off every time we turned air on… would not recommend this to anyone!

Jackie’s place was very clean and comfortable, as described. We knew there was no central AC when we booked, unfortunately there were record breaking temperatures when we stayed in Rapid City. Not the hosts fault. I would definitely stay here again.

Well stocked with dishes,cookware,laundry soap, paper products. There was eight new towels and only 4 wash rags. Another six to eight towels dirty on the bathroom closet floor. Excellent WIFI and smart TV. Nice washer and dryer. Large refrigerator and freezer. Location on west side of Rapid City was convenient to Black Hills; however the property was directly behind a liquor store and seedy motel. Only one AC in the entire home upstairs in a bedroom. It kept throwing the breaker during the heat of the day. I would suggest that owner add a small window unit in kitchen during summer months. They are very inexpensive at Walmart. Bed was very uncomfortable for me and so was the couch. There is no covered parking at this property and it hailed four times during my stay. The outdoor patio was nice in the mornings because there was shady stand of trees and small creek that ran behind this unit. I saw a young buck deer in velvet 3 different mornings from the patio. I rented this unit for thirty days.

We arrived on a hot day. The only a/c was in an upstairs bedroom and the heat was on in every room. There were dirty towels left behind from a previous guest as well as bits of food left on the kitchen floor. The floors squeak very loud when you walk through the kitchen and the neighbors sounded like they were having a rodeo on the other side of the shared wall. The pillows were so flat it was like they weren’t even there. The rental is adjacent to a busy liquor store. Worst of all, the place is infested with ants and we continued to find ants in our luggage after our stay. Overall it was unclean and uncomfortable. They do have nice soaps in the shower and great water pressure with plenty of hot water and some very nice kitchen items (knives, pans, etc).

There is no air conditioning or fans in the second bedroom. A little bit hot.

Jackie was great and responded right away. town home was as described and great quiet place.
